Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a prestigious university campus in Reading.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repairs across the university estate, including routine and complex installations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Salary Range: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, plus opportunities for additional earnings through overtime and on-call pay.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrician to work on a diverse estate, providing electrical maintenance and repairs across various buildings and occupied settings.

You will be responsible for managing on-call rotations, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring high levels of efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or Maintenance and have comprehensive experience in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and compliance adherence.
