About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult SALT team. The successful candidate will work with trans and gender diverse patients, providing assessment and voice therapy/coaching interventions to reduce distress associated with communication patterns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, deliver, and evaluate a high-quality, evidence-based, specialist speech and language therapy service for trans and gender diverse patients.
  • Offer assessment and voice therapy/coaching interventions to reduce distress associated with communication patterns.
  • Work as part of the voice team, engaging with SLTs working in the field across the country and with the local CMAGIC MDT.

Requirements

  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
  • HCPC - Licence to Practice.
  • Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Experience working with specialist client groups, including trans and gender diverse patients.
