SF Recruitment is currently hiring a Payroll Assistant to join a business in Burton on an initial 6-month contract basis. This role is office-based, with working hours of 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times.

Job Description:

This position involves assisting with payroll processing, including calculating holiday and sick pay, processing statutory payments, and maintaining personnel records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly timesheets for approximately 300 employees
  • Calculate holiday and sick pay
  • Process all statutory payments
  • Maintain personnel records and assist with HR administration.
  • At month-end, you will be expected to assist with ad hoc invoice processing.
  • Support system implementation.

The ideal candidate will have previous payroll processing experience and be able to hit the ground running. An approachable nature and hardworking attitude are required.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
