Job Description

We are seeking a Special Needs Escort Specialist to join our team, providing vital support to children with special needs during school transportation. This role requires a caring and patient individual who can work effectively under the direction of the driver to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey for our students.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support children with mobility issues or severe/moderate learning difficulties during transportation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the driver, teachers, and parents to ensure a seamless transition for our students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to support students with complex needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting students with special needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality support to our students. A salary range of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum is offered, dependent on experience.
