About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our forward-thinking team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As an Anatomical Pathology Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all mortuary procedures are conducted efficiently and effectively.

You will be responsible for preparing patients for family visits, dealing with families directly, and maintaining accurate documentation and electronic records. Additionally, you will participate in relevant inspections, such as HTA, CPA, UKAS, and CQC, and demonstrate ongoing professional development and learning.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology, or equivalent qualification, and experience in working in a mortuary environment. You will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

The salary for this role is £37,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
