Training and Development Lead for Pathology Education

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Training and Development Lead for Pathology Education at North West London Pathology. With a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in workforce training and development.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and facilitating delivery of training programs within their area of focus. They will also coordinate program delivery to improve trainee and laboratory experiences, retention, and standards of work.
- Develop and implement training programs for Pathology Support Services and Corporate divisions within NWLP, including on-the-job competency training.
- Deliver apprenticeship and T Level programs, including pre-registration scientist training as part of apprenticeships.
- Support wider training programs as part of the Training Academy, with a particular focus on continuous professional development across NWLP.
The ideal candidate will possess an MSc or equivalent qualification, HCPC registration, and extensive relevant experience post-HCPC registration. They should also have practical analytical skills associated with diagnostic laboratory work, be well-organized, and have experience in learner assessments, program design, and implementation.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- HCPC Registration
- MSc, FIBMS, or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrable extensive relevant experience post-HCPC registration
