We're seeking a skilled Principal Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team in Preston, supporting the delivery of critical defence-related projects. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to achieve exceptional results.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contract administration and advice, ensuring obligations under contract are met
  • Manage scope of changes, highlighting commercial impact and identifying potential risks
  • Conduct value engineering assessments to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
  • Ensure all financial obligations are settled, and payments are made

About You

  • Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, with a background in the Nuclear / Civil engineering / Engineering sectors
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical industry in an infrastructure/defence environment
  • Comfortable communicating and negotiating with various levels of stakeholders
