We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability Instructor to join our team at NCG. As an Employability Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting residents across Newcastle, North Tyneside, and Northumberland to achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities- Learning Resource Development: Prepare, adapt, organize, and maintain learning resources and equipment to support the employability journey of our residents.
- Learning Environment Setup: Set up the learning environment and undertake day-to-day maintenance of equipment to ensure a conducive learning space.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with employability delivery teams to provide access to a bespoke employment journey for local residents, focusing on those who are hardest to reach.
- Administration and Project Duties: Undertake a range of administration and project duties, including proactively engaging with communities across the region.
- Instruction and Supervision: Prepare for instructing and supervising the learning experience and environment, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for our residents.
- Record Keeping: Complete and maintain accurate records for project outcomes, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of our employability programs.
- Learner Support: Support individuals and groups through the process of learning, associated training sessions, and referral routes, promoting learner development and responsibility.
- Team Meetings: Attend team, school, and other appropriate meetings as required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Staff Review and Performance Management: Participate in staff review and performance management processes, identifying and meeting training needs for self and others.
- Health and Safety: Take responsibility to ensure the health and safety of self and others, adhering to NCG's health and safety policies.
