About the Role

At McCarthy Stone, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to our residents. We are seeking an experienced and caring individual to join our team as a Care and Support Assistant.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support services to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being. You will also be involved in coordinating resident activities and events, promoting social interaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as mobility and transfer services
  • Cooking and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Participating in resident activities and events, promoting social interaction and engagement

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a residential setting
  • Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
