About the Opportunity

As a Child Protection Social Worker with Cambridge County Council, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of children and young people in our community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading safeguarding efforts, engaging with families, and developing effective relationships to drive positive change.

Responsibilities

- Lead safeguarding initiatives, ensuring timely escalation of concerns;
- Conduct assessments to identify needs and develop SMART targets;
- Build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families;
- Produce high-quality reports and plans that prioritize children's needs.

Requirements

- A Social Work degree or equivalent qualification;
- Ability to work flexibly and travel independently countywide;
