About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Chassis Engineer - Bushes & Mounts to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and delivery ownership of EDU, Suspension, and subframe bushes.
  • Supporting Design and Development (D & D) to meet targets in terms of NVH, stiffness, durability, load control, dynamic attributes, and package.
  • Defining product technical specifications that meet vehicle, system, manufacturing, service, and quality targets.
  • Delivering components that meet project milestones without compromising technical targets.
  • Supporting Vehicle dynamics with technical feasibility studies and defining product specifications.
  • Defining CAE and durability boundary conditions and targets.
  • Defining Design Verification Plans (DVP) and arranging and supporting track and rig tests accordingly.
  • Monitoring engineering completion (DFMEA progress, Part releases, and DVP status).
  • Supplier selection and supporting purchasing on cost and lead time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in the design and development of chassis components, particularly bushes and mounts.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to chassis component design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work in cross-functional teams.
