About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NVH Lead CAE Engineer to join our team at Forseven, a pioneering car company redefining the automotive industry through innovative technologies and engineering excellence.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to guide design and achieve component and assembly targets for noise and vibration attributes from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and analyze full vehicle FE models and subsystems, load-case derivation, analysis setup and execution, and post-processing of results to generate design recommendations.
  • Coordinate and participate in analysis and test activities to evaluate vehicles, investigate root causes, and develop solutions to achieve program requirements.
  • Lead the NVH CAE attribute and develop simulation in-house capability, guiding junior members of staff.
  • Analyze test data and correlation to CAE results, ensuring final vehicle sign-off against in-house requirements.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree and extensive experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental NVH theory and its application to achieve program goals.
  • Proven success in delivering full vehicle programs and demonstrated capability in solving NVH problems.
  • Experience using FEA techniques to predict noise and vibration of structures, with competence in using Optistruct, Hypermesh, ANSA, or equivalent software.
  • Desirable experience in NVH target setting, cascading to subsystem targets, and SEA techniques to predict airborne noise.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and quick learning capacity.
