Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Acute Assessment Unit team at The Wellington Hospital, St Johns Wood, London. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high standards of nursing care for patients requiring urgent medical or surgical consultant review.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the referral service, ensuring patients are assessed, treated, referred, and discharged according to the case.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Deputise for Senior Staff Nurses in their absence, ensuring patient care is consistently at a high level.
- Initiate improvements and developments in clinical issues and delivery of care.
- Document all aspects of patient care and report incidents and complaints, participating in thorough investigation and response.
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
- Experience within a similar unit or accident and emergency is essential.
- Previous experience within Critical Care is also desirable.
