Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Paediatric Spinal Surgery Team

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our client's team at their hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you will utilise your expertise to deliver holistic, evidence-based care throughout the Spinal Surgery pathway. You will advocate for patients, offering specialist nursing advice and emotional support throughout their treatment while driving service development and staff education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to children undergoing spinal surgery
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • 5 years post-registration experience in Children's nursing
  • First degree in nursing or health-related subject
  • Relevant qualification in a specialist area with at least 12 months' experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
  • Experience of audit and research relevant to the specialism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk
