About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Science Team Lead to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of high-quality content for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of medical writers and editors to produce engaging and compliant content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business opportunities and support winning proposals
  • Review and edit content to ensure medical accuracy, engagement, and compliance
  • Participate in client-facing meetings to understand business priorities and medical issues
  • Manage workload and output across multiple proposals, including direct reports and additional resources as needed

Requirements

  • UK citizen or resident with right to work in the UK
  • BSc or higher in biomedical science; substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or medical communications industry may be considered in place of degree
  • Experience in medical communications, journalism, strategy, consulting, medical affairs or related work in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Line manager experience overseeing medical writers, either in-house or remotely
  • Client-facing experience, with demonstrated ability to navigate challenging relationships
