**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Healthcare Practitioner to join our team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. You will be responsible for conducting a range of investigations and procedures, including electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and echocardiography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized investigations, including ECGs and Holter monitoring.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science) or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS) or Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP).
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably within an NHS setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Salary:** £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
