We are seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Research Scientist to join our team at the Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to the development of novel methods for analyzing next-generation sequencing data to improve cancer diagnostics.

About the Job

This is a full-time appointment for 12 months, with an estimated annual salary of £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field, and excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.

About Your Skills

We are looking for a talented individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new algorithms and statistical models to analyze large-scale genomic data, and interpreting results to inform clinical decisions.
