HR Officer Job Description

Novax Recruitment is seeking a skilled HR Officer to join their team in Taunton. This is a full-time contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £20.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations aspects of HR, supporting managers in meetings, and providing advice and guidance on ER and HR matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of employee relations cases, including performance reviews, absence, termination, investigation, disciplinary, and recruitment.
  • Support managers in meetings surrounding employee relations matters, including performance reviews, absence, and termination.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on ER and HR matters, including complex cases and supporting at Hearings and Appeals.
  • Undertake HR and OD policy and project work as required.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in HR or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations operational HR role within a large organisation with a diverse workforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and recognised best HR practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate on complex issues at all levels.
