We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional General Counsel to join our team at Scott Bader. As a key member of our global legal team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice to our business leaders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Contract Management: Manage and advise on commercial contracts, including negotiation, drafting, and review of agreements.
- Legal Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with our global teams to develop and implement effective legal strategies, including guidance, templates, and training.
- Dispute Resolution: Advise on dispute resolution strategies, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation.
- Contract Management System: Maintain an effective contract management system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve legal and commercial processes to enhance the speed and efficiency of onboarding customers and suppliers.
- Commercial Experience: Proven experience in a commercial or in-house legal role, with a strong understanding of commercial law and contracts.
- International Experience: Experience working in a global environment, with a strong understanding of international commercial law and practices.
