Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Financial Controller to join our team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial processes and ensuring the accuracy of our statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial processing, including accounts payable and receivable, treasury management, VAT compliance, and year-end accounting
  • Develop and implement financial control procedures to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide strategic leadership and professional management for financial planning and analysis
  • Work closely with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to develop business performance insight

Requirements:

  • Extensive post-qualification experience in a senior finance/accountancy role
  • Proven track record of leading, managing, and developing diverse teams
  • Experience of preparing statutory accounts and implementing financial control procedures
  • Knowledge of accountancy and payroll systems, preferably Sage

Benefits:
