CV-Library is partnering with a leading business in Nottinghamshire to recruit an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, internal audit, and treasury management, coupled with excellent leadership and analytical skills.

About the Role:

The Senior Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of statutory financial reports for the group alongside conducting the internal audit. This includes preparing and submitting timely and accurate statutory financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to local and group accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with external auditors for annual audits, including preparation of a timetable for the delivery of the process.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all corporate tax returns are delivered on time.
  • Manage group tax position and advise on complex tax matters including local and international tax position.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, and assess their impact on the group's financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, ensuring all required documentation is prepared and available in a timely manner.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for financial reporting, we encourage you to apply.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or similar) with at least 4 years post-qualification experience. You should also have experience of FRS 102 statutory accounts preparation, financial controls, and the audit process.
