We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Complex Health and Social Care Service. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to individuals with complex health and social care needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing specialist psychological services to individuals with long-term health conditions. You will work closely with other health and social care professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans, and provide training and supervision to less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and appropriate assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for individuals with complex health and social care needs.
- Work proactively with other health and social care professionals to support individuals to understand, adjust, and cope with their condition.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision for less experienced staff, trainees, and volunteers.
- Manage a specialist caseload of clients and provide advice and consultancy to clients and professionals.
- Ensure all healthcare records and documentation meet high-quality standards.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience of working in adult mental health services and/or physical health services. You will have excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills, and be able to integrate complex data, make highly skilled evaluations, and decisions.
You will also have advanced psychological assessment and formulation skills, including risk assessment, and be able to work under pressure and cope with deadlines. We welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of mental health conditions, neurodiversity, or learning disabilities.
