We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD). As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological input to neurodiverse children and young people, their families, and professional networks.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds, including Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy, and Mental Health Practitioners. You will have the chance to work in a team with a strong multidisciplinary ethos, as well as collaborating with colleagues in other pathways and working in partnership with other agencies such as local Paediatric teams and education providers.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex assessments and deliver evidence-based and outcome-monitored psychological therapies to children and young people with complex needs.
- Collaborate with other pathways to support the most effective approach for children and young people to have consistent experiences of care.
- Provide teaching and training to colleagues and students.
- Ensure the safety of young people in partnership with other agencies as appropriate.
- Attend to diversity and work in a way that promotes anti-discriminatory practice.
- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Post-qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post-qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
