Procurement Leadership Role

This is a newly created position leading a team of 11 professionals in the central procurement function. The team is responsible for creating and managing procurement frameworks for various categories, including office supplies, print, and vehicles. The role requires strong leadership and motivational skills to help the team develop further into a high-performing team with a focus on maximizing commercial value for the business while offering great value to customers.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Procurement, compliance, and quality teams to ensure that processes and policies are up-to-date and compliant with legislation changes. The role also involves working with the central procurement data team to analyze data and identify opportunities to commercialize it and drive value across the board.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Head of Procurement, Procurement Manager, or Category Manager role, with excellent leadership and analytical skills. They will also have a strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and processes, as well as a solid commercial mind. MCIPS or equivalent qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
