Job Title: Director of Contract Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Contract Management to join our team at Betfred Group. As a key member of our procurement and ESG team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of procurement and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's business objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policy.
  • Monitor and analyse procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
  • Manage the tendering process for our retail estate, including preparation, issuance, evaluation, and contract award.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure quality and reliability, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive quality, services, and delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including supplier performance, cost savings, and supply chain risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost savings opportunities and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing activities.
ESG Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's ESG strategy, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive ESG initiatives and achieve sustainability goals.
  • Monitor and report on ESG performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability and social responsibility within the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and ESG roles, preferably in the retail or gambling industry.
  • Experience managing indirect procurement categories, such as IT, Marketing, and Professional Services.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in managing tenders and contract negotiations.
  • Deep understanding of ESG principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
