Job Title: Clinical Specialist Mammographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Mammographer to join our team at The London Bridge Hospital. As a Specialist Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures, assisting with biopsies, and participating in symptomatic breast clinics.

About the Role:
  • Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
  • Undertake all administrative duties involved with the Mammography service under the guidance of the Site Superintendent and Mammography Superintendent.
  • Participate in the rotation of Mammographers to other sites associated with the facility.
  • Participate in symptomatic breast clinics and assist with vacuum-assisted biopsies where appropriate.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration.
  • Extensive post-graduate experience with a post-graduate qualification in Mammography.
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures in Mammography.
  • Use of Hologic equipment previously.
