Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at AqualisBraemar LOC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydrodynamics and cable installation, with the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide technical leadership to engineers within the team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and technical excellence.
•Undertake hydrodynamic analysis and simulations of marine operations, providing expertise and guidance as required.
•Undertake technical consultancy work, providing advice and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
•Develop and maintain technical competencies in alignment with the business needs, ensuring the team remains up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to the role.
•10 years' experience in the marine and/or energy industry, with a strong background in hydrodynamics and cable installation.
•High-level expertise in Orcaflex, with experience in cable installation and mooring analysis.
•Experience in the technical oversight or management of engineering teams undertaking hydrodynamic analysis.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
