Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Maritime Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational and financial performance, providing financial challenge and due diligence, and identifying business trends, risks, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Head of Underwater Battlespace and Autonomy to drive business performance and deliver against in-year and long-term plans and targets.
- Use business acumen to provide financial challenge and due diligence of new business activities, ensuring approval of pricing proposals and delivery of the business strategy.
- Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities, translating these into corrective actions and assessing the financial impact of business decisions.
- Collaborate on new product development proposals to ensure competitive returns on investment and support strategic business decisions.
- Work with Project Finance, Project Management, and Business Managers to provide relevant, timely information and challenge for reviews.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvements across multi-functional teams.
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Proven experience supporting the delivery of long-term, complex programmes or projects
- Strong ability to proactively influence the business with an inquisitive nature
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing and challenging customer requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
