We're seeking a seasoned Tax Technology professional to join our team at Liberty Global in Hammersmith. As a Senior Manager, Tax - Technology, you will be responsible for managing the roadmap for the use of technology within the Central Tax team, as well as overseeing the estate of technology solutions used.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implementing targeted process improvements within the tax compliance function, including relevant aspects of the accounting systems. These improvements may be refinements to existing processes or 'step changes' in response to legislative developments, industry best practice, or specific opportunities.
  • Managing the effective introduction of automation and technology tools into the tax compliance and monitoring processes, including addressing rapidly changing legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting in effectively managing the utilization of Liberty Global's resources relating to tax compliance & reporting.
  • Sharing knowledge and support training as necessary to ensure finance and accounting colleagues have the appropriate level of understanding of tax compliance matters.
  • Leading the team's Tax Technology Champions forum.
  • Owning the existing estate of technology assets and licenses (including constant appraisal and challenge) and being responsible for the future roadmap.
  • Aligning with the broader Liberty Global Finance Technology team to ensure great coordination and transparency between Tax initiatives and the broader Finance Tech agenda.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider Liberty Global Central Tax Team, sharing knowledge and experience to ensure relevant tax compliance matters are considered appropriately in the Liberty Global group context.
  • Fostering an environment in which all members of the Liberty Global Central Tax Team work collaboratively to achieve the team's goals and objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven track record in a large group environment with finance and technology experience. Proven ability to adapt to new environments and concepts, to pick up concepts quickly and be forever curious.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to partner with peers, local operating companies, Tax leadership, and the wider business.
  • Ability to recognize complex issues and implications and seek assistance when necessary.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience with different technology systems & controls, ERP systems, consolidation software like Hyperion.
