Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours over 5 days with 1:5 weekends. Shifts are 8 1/2 hours with 1/2 an hour unpaid lunch, between 8:00 and 7:30, with a day a week admin, shift patterns flexible dependent on the business needs.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nursing Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the nursing team across our business, ensuring that they are supported to provide the highest standards of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the nursing team to ensure effective delivery of patient care and maintain a happy, efficient working environment.
- Work closely with the Clinical Director and Lead Nurses to identify areas of development needs within the nursing team.
- Ensure practice policies and group policies are always adhered to.
- Be involved in SLT meetings to help make changes from a business as well as a clinical perspective.
- Manage Health and Safety procedures, team development, rota management, recruitment and line management.
- Split 80% clinical, 20% non-clinical to achieve this.

Our nursing team includes people with interests in a wide variety of areas including senior clinics, weight clinics as well as anaesthesia. We are also supported by our wonderful Patient Care Assistants who work alongside our nurses to achieve the highest standards of care for our patients.
