Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Shift Coordinator at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. This position involves working rotating shifts, including days and nights, with a focus on patient placement, bed utilization, and staffing during evenings, weekends, and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels, and bed utilization
  • Ensure excellence in the provision of patient-centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shifts
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to optimize patient flow and bed management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
