Overview

The role of Traffic Engineer requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to successfully deliver projects and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and installation of smartmicro radar sensors on-site.
  2. Collaborate with third-party installers and internal teams for seamless project execution.
  3. Implement and support intelligent transport systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  4. Develop comprehensive proposals to explain complex technologies to clients.
  5. Conduct thorough testing of hardware and software for system integration.
  6. Provide effective problem-solving solutions before and during installation phases.
  7. Evaluate and address customer needs to ensure successful project outcomes.
  8. Create detailed documentation for application guides and user manuals.
  9. Train clients' staff on system operation and maintenance.
Essential Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in ITS, highways, or traffic management systems.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools and programming languages.
  • Compulsory qualifications include ECS/CSCS/HEA cards and City & Guilds certifications.
Benefits and Salary
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including private medical insurance and pension scheme.
  • Annual salary range: £38,000 - £43,000.
