Job Overview

A highly competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this Senior Engineer role in Barrow-in-Furness. BAE Systems welcomes applications from qualified professionals who can provide specialist advice on nuclear safety and site licensing.

Responsibilities
  1. Support business teams to ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations by providing guidance on the requirements of the Nuclear Site License, Authorisation and Environmental Permits.
  2. Influence business management arrangements and ways of working to maintain a high level of safety and regulation.
  3. Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and directors, to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
Requirements
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, including working with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent technical report writing and persuasive written argument skills.
  • Ability to provide technical advice and understand regulatory requirements.
