About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Visitor Services Assistant to join our team at the University of Oxford. As a Visitor Services Assistant, you will provide a warm welcome to visitors and assist with enquiries, ensuring a positive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the management of visitor flow, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all.
- Encourage donations and conversions to Gift Aid, promoting the importance of supporting the University of Oxford.
- Contribute to the security and safety of the building and its collections, reporting any incidents or concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Deliver engaging introductions to visiting groups, sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for the University of Oxford's collections and exhibitions.
About You
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have a confident and proactive approach to dealing with problems and issues, as well as a positive attitude and a desire to gain knowledge of the University of Oxford and its collections.
