Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Nelson Inn. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our busy pub, working closely with the Pub Manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage busy services, including planning and running special events, welcoming and looking after customers, and training and leading our bar/waiting team.
- Draw on your knowledge and experience to decide on beer, gin, and wine offerings, as well as event planning and execution.
- Ensure smooth operations, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase team engagement.
- Collaborate with the Pub Manager to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, customer retention, and team development.

About You
We are looking for a Deputy Manager with experience in a similar role, preferably in a gastro pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, or other hospitality sector. You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. You should also be customer-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving sales growth.
