Daily Living Aid Position Summary

We seek a kind-hearted and supportive individual to help a gentleman in Norwich with daily living tasks. As a Daily Living Aid, you will be responsible for assisting him to maintain his independence and enhance his overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support with light household chores, such as cleaning and laundry.
  2. Acompany the gentleman on shopping trips, providing companionship and assistance.
  3. Remind him to eat and drink regularly, ensuring his basic needs are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional communication and empathy skills.
  2. Ability to work comfortably with someone who has dementia.
  3. Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.68. Employees also receive 5.6 weeks' annual leave and free care skills training.

Selection Criteria:

  1. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
  2. Two satisfactory references from previous employers.
  3. A successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
