About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Power Engineer to join our Power Systems Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing power systems for data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct load flow analysis for optimal power distribution and system integrity
  • Coordinate protection systems for enhanced reliability and safety
  • Execute arc flash studies to mitigate risks and comply with safety standards
  • Contribute to the resilience of power systems under dynamic conditions
  • Validate input data for accurate simulation results
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing results and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate documentation for power system simulations and design activities
  • Contribute to the improvement of simulation methodologies and expand the team's capabilities to meet demand
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Engineering
  • Proven experience in power systems engineering, preferably in the data center industry
  • Proficiency in ETAP (preferred), DigSilent, or SKM
  • Experience with Load Flow, Short Circuit Analysis, Protection Coordination, Arc Flash, Harmonic Studies, and Underground Cable Sizing
  • Experience in Transient Stability and Earthing Studies is desirable
  • Deep understanding of electrical machine models, incl. generators, transformers, motors, and UPS
  • Experience in LV and MV systems, ideally HV up to 132 kV
  • Strong knowledge of power systems control and SCADA systems
