About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled External Communications Manager to join our team at Simplyhealth, a leading provider of affordable health plans in the UK. As a key member of our Communications team, you'll play a critical role in shaping our external communications strategy and driving growth, reputation, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-channel communications strategy to meet business needs and stakeholder ambitions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, journalists, health experts, and government stakeholders.
- Lead press campaigns, create thought leadership content, and develop social media and public relations strategies.
- Manage a press agency and collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver first-rate communications.
- Line manage the Communications Executive and provide coaching and support.
About You
We're looking for a seasoned communications professional with a strong track record of shaping and delivering communications strategies. You'll have excellent communication skills, a robust knowledge of media relations, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
