External Communications Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled External Communications Manager to join our team at Simplyhealth. As a key member of our Communications team, you'll play a vital role in shaping and delivering our external communications strategy, driving growth, and building our reputation and impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a multi-channel external communications strategy that meets business needs and stakeholder ambitions.
- Manage a press agency and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, including Executive Leadership, our Clinical Team, and charitable partners.
- Lead public affairs work for Denplan with our public affairs agency, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Line manage the Communications Executive, providing professional development, coaching, and support.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a strong storyteller with impeccable writing skills, and has a robust knowledge of media relations, public relations, thought leadership, social media, and crisis communications. Experience in agency management and stakeholder management is essential.
