About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Aspens Services Ltd. As a leading contract catering company, we specialize in school food and are committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences for children.

The successful candidate will have full operational and financial responsibility for our school catering facilities, focusing on delivering high-quality food and service. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of kitchen staff
  • Managing stock, food, and labour costs
  • Ensuring consistency of food and service standards
  • Driving sales through promotions and events
  • Managing controllable costs
  • Overseeing menu development
  • Maintaining company systems and procedures
  • Carrying out regular audits

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary operations, with experience in managing a team and controlling costs. They will also have a passion for delivering exceptional food and service, as well as a commitment to health and safety practices.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £14 per hour, as well as a range of benefits including:

  • 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during school term time
  • No late nights or weekends
