Culinary Operations Manager

We're looking for an experienced Cook Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of food quality and service. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop your team, providing coaching, training, and motivation to ensure they're equipped to deliver exceptional food and service.
- Assist with catering operations, including stock, food, and labour costs, to ensure we're meeting our financial targets.
- Ensure consistency of food and service standards across all our schools, meeting the high expectations of our clients and children.
- Drive sales through monthly promotions and added value events, working closely with our marketing team to promote our services.
- Oversee menu development, ensuring our menus are innovative, healthy, and appealing to our customers.
- Maintain company systems and procedures, ensuring we're compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Carry out regular audits to ensure our standards are being met, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You'll need:
- Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Basic financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
- Experience working in a similar environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food and service.
- Fantastic hours, working Monday to Friday during school term time, with more time for friends and family.
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.50, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.
