At King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking an experienced Senior Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you take on a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of governance and compliance across our maternity services.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operational management experience, clinical practice, and governance expertise. They will be responsible for promoting effective risk and governance processes that meet regulatory obligations and withstand external scrutiny, demonstrating high-quality and safer maternity services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote compliance, assurance, and transformation through delivery of presentations and discussions with large groups of staff at various forums.
  • Utilising the education, risk and governance team to provide day-to-day visibility and leadership to Midwifery staff on compliance, assurance, and transformation.
Requirements
  • An MSC level qualification or postgraduate management qualification, or significant progress made towards completion of further studies at Masters Level.
  • A proven track record of operational service management at a senior level in an acute hospital environment, including staff management, financial management, and change management.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife, currently on NMC Register.
