Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Care Supervisor to join our team in West Wickham. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing quality control systems, providing support to care staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular spot checks on care staff in the community, identifying best practices and reporting any concerns to the registered manager.
- Care Delivery: Ensure high standards of care are maintained, including completing care assessments and writing care plans.
- Staff Support: Build relationships with care staff and service users, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Inspection Preparation: Assist the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks as required, including assisting the care coordinator with duties.
Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role or 2 years of experience working in health and social care.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and knowledge of CQC standards.
- Availability: Flexibility to cover on-call shifts as required.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum.
