About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive anaesthetic services to a wide range of specialties, including Accident Service/Orthopaedics/Major Trauma Centre, Breast Surgery, and Gynaecology. The appointee will work closely with consultant colleagues to deliver a service that meets the highest standards of clinical care.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in anaesthesia, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for teaching and education. A strong background in research and academic pursuits would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-level expertise in general anaesthesia to a wide range of specialties.
  • To work closely with consultant colleagues to deliver a service that meets the highest standards of clinical care.
  • To participate in medical audit, the Trust's Clinical Governance processes, and CPD activities.
