The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the individual's independence, confidence, and overall well-being through various social and leisure activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to enhance the individual's daily life
  • Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities such as crafting, reading, and cooking
  • Communicate effectively using British Sign Language (BSL)
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in supporting individuals at home and in the community
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, including wheelchairs
  • Mild personality and calming nature
  • Desirable: knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL)
Working Arrangements:

This part-time position requires a commitment of 6 hours per week, split into 2 x 3 hour sessions. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to work varying shifts once they have completed their probationary period.

The hourly rate for this role is £13.09, equivalent to approximately £25,500 per annum (pro rata).
