This position is an excellent opportunity for a caring and skilled individual to join our team as a Culinary Assistant. We are seeking someone who can provide exceptional patient-centered care in our kitchen environment.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Cook and catering team to ensure the smooth operation of all kitchen processes. This includes creating menus, plating up food, and arranging trolleys to provide a personalized service to our residents.
We require someone with experience working in a similar environment, kitchen and food preparation skills, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. A caring nature, flexibility, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
As a Culinary Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents feel supported and cared for during meal times. You will work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Work collaboratively with the Cook and catering team to plan and implement meal services
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families
Salary: £23,000 per annum (depending on experience)
