Kitchen Porter/kitchen Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. This is an entry-level position in the culinary industry, perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. Duties: - Assist the kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking tasks - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools - Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen - Receive and store food deliveries - Follow all health and safety regulations Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Skills: - Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations - Ability to work well as part of a team - Basic culinary skills or willingness to learn - Strong work ethic and reliability - Excellent time management skills At our establishment, we offer competitive pay rates and provide opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry.
