EU Public Policy Manager

At Principle, we are seeking a talented Public Policy Manager to join our Data Center Policy team working at EU level. The successful candidate will help shape policy in Europe as we build and operate some of the world's most innovative data centers, powered 100% by renewable energy.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to influence energy and sustainability policies that impact data centers.

The Offer:

  • Highly competitive salary of £120,000 pa
  • Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite at state-of-the-art offices in Central London
  • Role will start on an initial 9-month contract

The Role:

  • Analyze and advocate for data center and energy policies across Europe.
  • Engage stakeholders and manage campaigns to align on policy strategies.
  • Track relevant legislation, consolidating feedback from internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Principle's policy, legal, and data center teams to support sustainability goals.
  • Attend EU workshops, summarize policy proposals, and manage external engagement.

Your Background:

  • 3+ years experience in EU energy policy or government relations.
  • Strong writing and policy analysis skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional policy campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of EU commission policy, data centers, sustainability, and energy policies.
