Adecco is seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to join a global leader in building and operating sustainable data centres. As a Public Policy Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive policies that impact data centre operations across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Support cross-functional policy analysis and advocacy initiatives focused on data centres and energy throughout Europe.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify emerging policy issues that may affect data centre operations.
  • Stay updated on data centre and energy-related legislation and provide consolidated feedback to internal teams.
  • Prepare documentation and memos on data centre policies and issues to support external engagement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and drive responsible data centre development policies.
  • Monitor and research emerging public policy issues and thought leaders in the industry.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to incorporate their expertise into campaign strategies for flawless execution.
  • Manage client expectations while upholding high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in policy management in EU parliament and EU commission.
  • Experience with policy proposals from the EU and ability to discuss them with partners.
  • Knowledge on how the commission and parliament work in terms of policy management.
  • EU commission website understanding and experience - reading a bill, navigate the process and the website.
  • EU or Ireland energy policy experience would be ideal.
  • Experience in internet technologies, security, privacy, integrity, safety, content moderation, and related policy environments.
  • Strong understanding of government relations and policy issues.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Track record of executing successful cross-functional policy campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
