About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Making Space, providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in Runcorn and Widnes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with personal care, grooming, and dressing, promoting their independence and confidence.
  • Support with medication, meal preparation, and mobility, ensuring the well-being and safety of our service users.
  • Encourage and empower individuals to access the community, promoting social inclusion and engagement.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance, helping individuals build their self-esteem and confidence.
Requirements
  • Strong empathy and understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Access to own transport, as travel may be required across Runcorn and Widnes.
